Whale Watching

We have just had a great day whale watching at Nelson Bay. We went with some friends and their two girls. 

   
   
We saw quite a few whales

And on the way back to shore dolphins swam alongside us.

Award Day

Isabel got an award for creativity at the once-a-term award assembly. 

We were very proud. 

   
 

Matilda

Isabel’s reading is coming along leaps and bounds and we read Roald Dahl to her. She likes Matilda so we all went to the stage musical. Iz had a ball and it was the topic for news the following Monday. 

Coincidentally a girl at cammeray school is one of the Matildas and she was on the day we saw it. News got round and she popped up to KS to sign the program. 

  

Barrenjoey Lighthouse

A favourite walk. Up to the lighthouse and even a trip to the top of the lighthouse. We had to remember all the facts for news on Monday. 

   
   

Cartoon Heroes

KS did a performance at assembly. A song and dance spectacular extravaganza that has to be seen to be believed. 

Luna Park

We went to Luna Park with some friends and had fun on the merry-go-round and the dodgems and the big wheel.  
And then we did the Wild Mouse!  

And got the photo. 

   
And did it 4 more times too!

Narrabeen Lake

It was all going so well. A little bit of off road. 

  
A side trip to a waterfall. 

  
Then an even better shot with Iz on a rock under the waterfall. That shot was never taken. Iz feel in up to her knees. Bad dad. 

Snow Planet

School holidays so Iz is off to NZ and is going skiing at snow planet. 

By all accounts she had a whale of a time. 

   
    
 

Balmoral Beach

A lovely night for a stroll in the beach. 

   
   

The Tooth

For a few weeks Iz has been down to a single front tooth. 

 But it has been getting more macabre by the day.    So I pulled it out!  All smiles.
